About Product

1. What is bagasse tableware made from?

Our tableware is made from 100% reclaimed sugarcane bagasse. Bagasse is the dry, fibrous pulp that remains after the juice has been extracted from sugarcane stalks. It is a 100% renewable and plant-based resource.

2. Are your products 100% compostable and biodegradable?

Yes. Our products are certified compostable by **BPI (US)** and **TÜV Austria (EN 13432 - EU)**. They will break down into soil/biomass in a commercial composting facility in 90 days. Biodegradation is a general term, while compostability is a specific, certified standard that we meet.

3. Are your products microwave and freezer safe?

Yes. All our products are safe for microwave use (up to 3 minutes on high) and for freezer storage (down to -20°C / -4°F). The material remains strong and will not warp or deform.

4. Can your bagasse tableware be used in a conventional oven?

Yes. Our tablewares are oven-safe at temperatures up to 220°C (428°F) for up to 20 minutes. They are perfect for reheating food.

5. How well do your products handle hot liquids, oil, and grease?

Our products are engineered to be highly grease and water-resistant. They can comfortably hold hot liquids (like soup) up to 100°C (212°F) without leaking or getting soggy for an extended period. If you have higher requirements for the duration of oil and water resistance, we can provide product coating solutions.

6. Are your products PFAS-free?

We can produce PFAS-free tableware. We can provide different types of products according to customer requirements and local national environmental protection regulations. Please specify that you require "PFAS-free" products when requesting a quote.

7. What is the difference between natural and white sugarcane bagasse?

"Natural" is the original tan/kraft color of the sugarcane fiber. "White" products undergo an elemental chlorine-free (ECF) bleaching process to achieve a clean white look. Both are equally strong, food-safe, and compostable.

8. Is there any smell or taste from the bagasse material?

None. Our products are completely odorless and tasteless. They are made from purified natural fiber and will not impart any unwanted flavor to your food.

9. What is the shelf life of your products?

When stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, our products have a shelf life of at least 3 years.

10. How do your products compare to paper or CPLA cutlery?

Bagasse is far superior. Compared to paper, it's stronger, won't get soggy, and has better heat resistance. Compared to CPLA (crystalized PLA), our bagasse cutlery is heat-resistant, doesn't get brittle, and has a much better mouth-feel (no plastic or woody taste).

About Payment

1. What are your standard payment terms?

Our standard term for new clients is 30% T/T deposit upon order confirmation, and the 70% balance payment against the copy of the Bill of Lading (B/L). We aim to build long-term partnerships.

2. Do you offer credit terms (e.g., Net 30/60)?

Credit terms (e.g., O/A) are considered for long-term partners with a stable order history (typically after 1-2 years of cooperation) and a successful credit check (e.g., via Sinosure).

3. Do you accept Letters of Credit (L/C)?

Yes, for large orders (typically above $50,000 USD), we accept an irrevocable L/C at sight from a reputable international bank.

4. What currencies do you accept?

Our primary currency for quotation and payment is the US Dollar (USD). We may also accept EUR or GBP, subject to discussion with your sales manager.

5. How long is a price quotation valid for?

Due to fluctuations in raw material and shipping costs, our quotations are typically valid for 14 days. If shipping is included (CIF/DDP), the freight portion may be valid for a shorter period.

6. Do you accept PayPal or credit cards?

We accept PayPal or credit card payments only for sample orders. For mass production orders, we require payment via T/T (bank wire transfer) or L/C.

7. Are tooling/mold fees paid upfront?

Yes, all customization fees, including mold development and printing plate charges, must be paid 100% in advance before we can begin the engineering and sampling process.

8. Is the deposit refundable if I cancel my order?

The 30% deposit is generally non-refundable as it is used to cover raw materials and production scheduling. If cancellation occurs before production has started, please discuss options with your sales manager.

9. In what currency are your quotes valid?

All official quotations are provided in US Dollars (USD) unless explicitly requested otherwise.

10. Are there any hidden fees?

Absolutely not. Our quotations are transparent. We will clearly list the product cost, and any additional costs for shipping (if CIF) or customization (if OEM). All local port charges in China are included in our FOB price.

The process is: 1. You provide a 3D design file (or we help you design it). 2. We quote the mold fee. 3. You pay the fee. 4. We produce the mold & send samples (approx. 25-30 days). Mold fees vary based on size and complexity, starting from approx. $3,500 USD.

From design confirmation and payment, it takes approximately 25-30 days to complete the tooling and produce the first samples.
